Folk Music
This section collects works by composers who have drawn inspiration from melodies or dance forms of the Italian tradition. The scores are primarily for voice and piano, with the exception of the works by Carlo Musi, which are written in dialect and intended for a popular audience.
The other scores are inspired by regional songs, such as the stornelli of Lucca by Oddone, or the lullabies and the singing of the stornellatrice from Recli, intended for public or salon performances.
