Music theory and practice
This section presents the three volumes of Metodo per lo studio del pianoforte by Edvige Calza.
The method, which came out in print in the 1940s, had aroused interest and even received ministerial authorization because it proposed a creative and alternative way to the systems then adopted for piano study.
An integral part of the three volumes are the reductions of ancient Italian music made by Balilla Pratella.
