Giovanna Bruna Baldacci
Giovanna Bruna Baldacci was born in Pistoia in 1886. She studied piano, graduating at a very young age, and composition at the Musical Institute of Florence with Francesco Cilea. She gave concerts in Italy and Switzerland, where she achieved success both as a virtuoso and for the performance of her own compositions.
She was a teacher of singing, choral singing, and piano. She also dedicated herself to writing, engaging in a valued literary activity by collaborating with the magazine Ars et Labor of Casa Ricordi and was the author of some texts for her compositions.
