Other Composers

In the association’s archive, there are also scores by female composers considered “minor.” Although they are not often directly connected to Emilia Romagna, they are interesting materials that frequently draw inspiration from folk music, children’s music, and popular forms of dance music.

These works are included in the section for other female composers, and it is hoped that this visibility will help raise awareness of the contributions of these protagonists, who have been overlooked by the official history of music.
